Reuse Centres - Cleaning out the garage and not sure
what to do with leftover paint or cleaning products? Looking
for supplies for a home improvement project? At your local
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot, residents can donate
useable but unwanted HHW materials, including oil and
latex paint. The staff sort the donations to determine
which materials are reusable and set those aside for other
residents to pick up – for free.
Reuse
Centre - The Reuse Centre is operated by The Burlington
Reuse Environmental Group which is a not-for-profit charitable
organization. The purpose of the Reuse Centre is to ensure
that items which would normally be put in the garbage
are available for use by others. Items brought to the
Centre are placed in appropriate areas where they can
be sold to others for reuse.
We will accept anything in usable condition, subject to
assessment by our receivers. If you are bringing items
to the Reuse Centre for disposal, please make sure these
items are clean, in working order and are usable.
